R5 Family in the UK, are you excited!

Please remember, this is only a single show in the UK, along with the single show in Paris, France. Please read this post for more info.

As you all already know, R5 will be playing 2 shows in Europe: 1 in Paris on June 30th at the Nouveau Casino and one more show in the UK which will be officially announced, including date and venue, tomorrow, May 20th. Unfortunately, these are the only 2 shows the group will be doing in Europe. The reason for this is the group's hectic scheduling for those next couple of months. As you know "Austin & Ally" was picked up for a 3rd season by Disney Channel, and production and filming for Season 3 begins in July. The group also needs to finish up their new album which is set to drop in early Fall of this year. Ross will actually be doing promos for Disney Channel in Paris and the UK on the days when their shows are. The group will simply accompany Ross and perform at night following all the promos Ross will be doing with Disney during the day, which they are doing for the fans in those 2 countries. They wish they could do more shows but there is no time for more shows right now unfortunately. Rest assured they will do their best to come back and play more shows as soon as possible!

No European Tour or any other tours are currently planned at this time. R5 will drop to do some occasional shows here and there from time to time when their schedules allow it including around December time, however another actual big tour may not be until next Spring sometime.

R5 also recently released this note to fans addressing the conclusion of the Loud Tour and their 2 shows in Europe:

Thank you for making this LOUD tour such a big success and an unforgettable experience for us! We really appreciate all your support, passion and love and we can't wait to play more shows in the near future.

A lot of you are wondering why we only play a show in Paris and London this summer and here is the reason why:
As you all know Ross is on the TV show "Austin & Ally" as well as in the upcoming movie "Teen Beach Movie".
The only reason why we can do Paris and London is because Ross was scheduled to do promotion for TBM for Disney in these cities and we decided to play a couple of shows within Ross's schedule.
R5 would love to play more shows all over Europe, Latin America, Australia, Japan and for all our R5 Family members around the world as soon as possible but right now we have to finish our album in June before Ross starts shooting his next season of "Austin & Ally" in July so therefore we can only play a few one off shows whenever time permits.

WAT-AAH! also released this video from the event today featuring the Avenues students dancing along to a four-minute dance routine re-recorded from Beyoncé's hit single "Get Me Bodied" choreographed by her. The students are joined by Bella Thorne, Mindless Behavior, and R5.

The WAT-AAH! Foundation, an organization founded by WAT-AAH!, a brand of functional bottled water for kids and teens, aimed at improving kids' health through working with youth focused creative and physical activity groups, kicks off the 3rd annual Move Your Body 2013 event in over 600 schools across the country, with key events in New York City and Los Angeles, featuring celeb performances and surprise guest appearances this Wednesday, May 1st at 1:42pm EST / 10:42am PST. In NYC, the annual nationwide youth exercise school event will be hosted by pop star Bella Thorne with performances by boy band Mindless Behavior, singer Jacob Latimore and rock band R5, while in L.A teen celebs Coco Jones, Blake Michael and Jadagrace will be in attendance. Exciting 250,000 kids in over 600 schools, the event and celebs join together to support First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move.

1 year ago today, we marked a milestone in our history. We opened our virtual doors for the first time on Wednesday, April 25th, 2012. Since then, we've grown exponentially, far beyond what I was anticipating. We've helped connect fans from all parts of the globe with one another, brought you all the latest news and information on our favorite band, and have given away countless R5 and Austin & Ally prizes. And we've only scratched the surface! We want to take this time to thank each and every one of you for all of your continued love and support for us and hope that you find our site informative and helpful. We've got tons of plans to better improve the website which we hope to implement later this summer. But this site is not just our site, this entire network is not just our network. It's as much all of yours as it is ours. So thank you very much for all of your love and support.

To Ross, Riker, Rydel, Rocky, Ratliff, Ryland, Mr. Mark, Mrs. Stormie, Mr. George, Mrs. Cheryl, and Mr. Andre, I just wanted to say thank you.
